Private Security Services Law: SAC Law No. 4/2025 issued

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the State Administration Council, has issued the Private Security Services Law (State Administration Council Law No. 4/2025) on February 18, 2025.

The law includes the following Chapters: Chapter (1): Title and Definitions, Chapter (2): Purpose, Chapter (3): Formation of the Central Committee and its Responsibilities and Powers, Chapter (4): Formation of the Supervisory Committee and its Responsibilities and Powers, Chapter (5): Application for a License, Chapter (6): Responsibilities and Rights of License Holders, Chapter (7): Application for Permission and the Responsibilities of Permission Holders, Chapter (8): Responsibilities and Powers of Private Security Personnel, Chapter (9): Dispute Resolution, Chapter (10): Actions Taken According to Management Procedures, Chapter (11): Prohibitions, Chapter (12): Crimes and Penalties, Chapter (13): General Provisions.
