Prior Arrangements: Meeting for successful holding of matriculation exams

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe met with the university rectors, Education Degree College principals and Region/State education officers at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

In his opening speech, the Union Minister said the students had successfully sat the year-end examinations of Basic Education Primary and Middle School level Grade-5 and 9. He added that the matriculation exams are about to begin on 11th  March, and urged all to make concerted efforts for successful holding of the exams. He also pointed out that to make prior arrangements for the students who’d like to take the exam at the areas where they have moved under various circumstances, and make them known to contact the relevant Township Education Offices in order not to lose the opportunity for taking the exam.

Moreover, the Union Minister added that for convenience of the students, the necessary assistances are also needed to be facilitated in time, and called for all inclusive efforts for successful holding of the exams in line with the rules and regulations. Regarding to that matter, the Deputy Ministers and officials made discussions, and responsed the inquires raised by the attendees. Then, the Union Minister gave concluding remarks.
