Prince William hails King Charles in concert speech

Prince William told his father, King Charles III, in a speech on Sunday evening that he was "so proud," as the monarch ascended to the British throne. A day after a gilded coronation ceremony watched by millions, King Charles III and Queen Camilla let others take the centre stage Sunday as they took in a star-studded concert featuring Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and others at Windsor Castle.

William praised Charles and highlighted his charity and conservation work, adding that he warned them of the risks to planet's health long before it was an everyday issue. William added that his father had always understood that people of all faiths, all backgrounds and all communities deserve to be celebrated and supported.
