Prince Charles meets Biden, Kerry at COP26

U.S. President Joe Biden met Britain's Prince Charles on Tuesday on the second day of the UN climate conference in Glasgow.

The president also had met with the Prince of Wales behind closed doors prior and “commended the Royal Family for its dedication to climate issues,” the White House said. Both Prince Charles and Biden had given speeches earlier in the day about challenges facing global warming through deforestation and wildfires.

The Biden administration is attempting to stop natural forest loss by 2030 and intends to dedicate up to $9 billion of climate funding to the issue, pending congressional approval.
