Prince Albert II of Monaco meets with Paraguay's President during visit

Prince Albert II of Monaco met with Paraguayan President Santiago Pena on Tuesday during a three day visit to the South American country.

Paraguay's Foreign Minister said “He will visit Itaipu's Hydroelectric Plant as part of his trip”. The Foreign Minister also stated that “This visit is a historic event where they were building a very important relationship. He added “The Principality of Monaco has the distinction of being one of the most influential states not only in Europe, but globally.”
