Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has arrived in China for a four-day visit from December 2 to 5. The visit, at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, focuses on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Nepal signed the BRI framework agreement in 2017 and the two countries are set to discuss its implementation. During the visit, Prime Minister Oli is expected to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li to discuss key areas including infrastructure, trade, investment, tourism, and agriculture.

This visit is seen as an opportunity to further strengthen Nepal-China ties.
