Prime Minister Modi pays Tribute to Former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at his residence in New Delhi on Friday.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said India will forever remember his contribution to nation. Other leaders were also present to pay their respects to Dr. Manmohan Singh at his residence. Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away at the age of 92 after battling a long sickness.

He breathed his last at All India Institute of Medical Science in New Delhi on Thursday. Manmohan Singh played a key role in the economic liberalization of India in the 1990s. A first class graduate from Cambridge, Manmohan went on to hold many governmental positions in India, finally becoming the Prime Minister on 22nd May, 2004.
