Prime Minister leads talks on science, tech, innovation

Viet Nam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference on developing science, technology, innovation and high-quality human resources to promote economic growth on Tuesday.

At the conference, representatives of Ministries, Branches, and Large Domestic and international corporations discussed and proposed tasks and solutions to help achieve the GDP growth target of 8% in 2025. The recommendations are anticipated to create momentum for double-digit growth in the following years.

They also dovetail with the implementation of Resolution 57 of the Politburo to drive progress on science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, and the government’s action programme. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that all sectors and the political system must participate synchronously in developing science, technology, innovation and high-quality human resources.
