Prime Minister encourages US businesses to increase investment in Viet Nam

Viet Nam Prime Minister encouraged U.S. businesses to increase investment in Viet Nam.

At a meeting with leading U.S. businesses on Saturday morning, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính thanked them for their contributions to Viet Nam’s economic and social achievements and urged further investment and trade cooperation. He called on U.S. firms to support Viet Nam’s goal of at least 8% growth this year and double-digit growth in the coming years.

The Prime Minister encouraged expanded high-quality investments, technology transfer, and workforce training, particularly in innovation, digital transformation, and emerging industries. He also urged businesses to advocate for the Trump administration to recognize Viet Nam’s market economy status and remove the country from U.S. high-tech export restrictions.
