Press release: New postage stamp to be issued on 9 Oct.

Myanmar Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will issue a new postage stamp depicting White Throated babbler called as “Swe” bird in Myanmar which is Myanmar endemic bird species recorded by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (worth K200 each) at 9:30 am on 9 October 2022.

The new postage stamp will be sold at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, the General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay and other post offices in each region and state.

As a special program, the postage stamp purchased at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw and General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay on 9 October 2022, the date will be sealed on the bought postage stamps, it’s reported.
