


South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has arrived in the Philippines for a three-nation Southeast Asia tour focused on economic expansion and security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
This marks the first visit by a South Korean leader in 13 years.The first day concluded with a dinner with local Korean communities, followed by a summit with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to discuss infrastructure, maritime security, and defense.
He is set to hold summits with the leaders of the Philippines and Singapore, and attend the ASEAN summit to foster regional cooperation.Yoon also plans to meet Japan's new Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.
