President Droupadi Murmu arrives in Slovakia

India's President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Slovakia on 9th April. This is first visit by the President of India to Slovakia in 29 years. During her visit, Murmu will hold bilateral meetings with her Slovak counterpart Peter Pellegrini and Prime Minister Robert Fico.

She will also meet the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Richard Rasi. The State Visit by President reflects the importance India attaches to its bilateral relations with Slovakia. It will provide an opportunity to further strengthen and broaden the existing bilateral ties. She will also interact with members of Indian community in Slovakia during her visit.
