






Myanmar National Cultural Central Committee held its meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.
Chairman of the Central Committee, member of the State Administration Council, Deputy Minister and Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San attended the meeting and made a speech, stressing the need to safeguard the cultural heritage of Myanmar national people till the world exists.
He also outlined the conservation efforts of cultural heritage, being carried out the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture by means of materially and legally while conducting research and mapping system for lease damages during natural disasters.
He added that plans are underway for the approval of Myanmar Museum Bill and Protection and Promoting of Intangible Cultural Heritage Bill for systematic display of booths in museums and preserving the displayed items.
He urged all attendees to strive for the success of the tasks with extended conservation and research works. The meeting discussed the work implementations for safeguarding the Myanmar cultural heritage, efforts for prescribing the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Myanmar on the World Heritage List, upgrading of cultural museums, preservation of cultural heritages of national races, implementation of digital directory for religious edifices, and efforts for promoting nationalistic and patriotic fervor.
