Presenting Literary Awards :Pakokku U Ohn Pe Literary Awards presented

The 29th edition of Pakokku U Ohn Pe Lifetime Literary Awards, Pakokku Literary Award, Pakokku U Ohn Pe Library Book Awards and Pakokku U Ohn Pe Scholarships giving ceremony were held at Horizon Review Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw on 9th of June and attended by the member of State Administration Council Mann Nyein Maung, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Union Ministers and officials.

After opening the ceremony, a video clip on the Pakokku U Ohn Pe Literary Award which is invaluable for the literary field was screened. 

Next, the Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn gave an opening speech at 29th edition of Pakokku U Ohn Pe Lifetime Literary Awards, Pakokku Literary Award, Pakokku U Ohn Pe Library Book Awards and Pakokku U Ohn Pe Scholarships giving ceremony.

Chairman of the Myanmar Writers Association and Pakokku Literary Award Fund Supervisory Committee U Ohn Maung (Myinmu Maung Naing Moe) gave a remark.

Then, SAC member Mann Nyein Maung presented the Pakokku U Ohn Pe Lifetime Literary Awards and Pakokku Literary Award to the winners, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn to the prize winners of novel genre, Union Minister U Ko Ko to the prize winners of selected short stories genre, Union Minister U Myo Thein Kyaw to the prize winners of treatise genre, Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung to the prize winners of research literature genre, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint to the National University of Arts and Culture Pakokku U Ohn Pe scholarship award winners, Chairman of the Myanmar Writers Association and Pakokku Literary Award Fund Supervisory Committee U Ohn Maung (Myinmu Maung Naing Moe) to the prize winners of selected poems genre, Vice Chair of Pakokku Literary Award Fund Supervisory Committee U Thein Khaing Oo to the prize winners of Pakokku U Ohn Pe Library Book Award.

Afterward, Pakokku Literary Award for Lifetime Achievements winner Daw Tin Yi (Tin Yi Ma-Nyaung-U) expressed thanks on behalf of the awardees.
