Preparedness and response activities: Rapid response measures to Cyclone “MOCHA”

Myanmar Police Force, the General Administrative Department and the Fire Services Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs are undertaking with added momentum preparedness measures, evacuating people from places where disasters may occur and stockpiling of rescue equipment and food in the respective Regions and states for rapid response to emergency rescue measures, search and rescue operations in case of cyclone.

On Friday, members and staff of the Departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs are conducting rescue measures and emergency search operations to response the risk of cyclone, educative programs and evacuating the people in advance from the places where disaster may be prone in regions and states.
