Preparations Underway: Union Minister for Information inspects preparation

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn on Monday afternoon inspected preparations for the National Lifetime Award for Literary Achievement and National Literary Award presentation ceremony at the Plenary Hall of Myanmar International Convention Center II.

Officials reported their working activities and the Union Minister gave necessary instructions. Later the day, the Union Minister met with winners of Literature awards for 2022 at the Sin Phyu Shin Guest House in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, the Union Minister said that the event is being prepared at the national level with better programs than the one last year.

He added that the awards winners can receive medical treatment at the military hospital, and the dormitories, canteens, a medical clinic are being arranged to provide health care in case of any health problems during the event. Then, the Union Minister received books from the literature award winners.
