Preparations Underway: Preparations for Kason Full Moon Day Buddha Day ceremonies

Chairman of the Leading Committee on Organizing the Kason Full Moon Day Buddha Day ceremonies Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U KoKo inspected preparations for the ceremonies in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday evening. The Union Minister inspected motor vehicles arrangement, and erection of the Buddhist flagpoles, colored lights decoration and sites for day meal offering, Dhamma Thabin, paper reading session and for members of the Sangha to stay at the Tabaung Ground in the compound of the Uppatasanti Pagoda.

And, on the platform of the Pagoda, the Union Minister inspected preparations to erect the Buddhist flagpoles and oil lamp posts, construction of pandals for the Kason Water Pouring Festival and water access plans. There, he also inspected preparations of places for those from the Ministry of Education to stay and gave necessary instructions to successfully hold the Kason Full Moon Day Buddha Day ceremonies.
