Preparations Underway: Preparations inspection for Academy Awards ceremony

The Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards ceremony for the years of 2019, 2020 and 2022 will be held at the open-air theater in Nay Pyi Taw on the 6th of May. Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and party inspected the preparations for the upcoming ceremony on Tuesday.

During the inspection, after hearing reports on matters including placement of the MRTV’s national orchestra and the Myanmar Saing Waing, selection of the songs to be performed at the ceremony, arrangement of seats, invitation plan and accommodation for guests, the Union Minister gave necessary instructions. And, the Union Minister inspected construction of the academy stage and arrangement of seats and red carpet for artistes.
