Preparations Underway: Meeting in Yangon for 76th Independence Day Ceremony

Yangon Region Government held a meeting to successfully hold the national flag raising, national flag saluting and message reading for 76th Independence Day.

In this meeting at the regional government office, Chief Minister U Soe Thein highlighted plans and preparations for the upcoming ceremony. 

And, attendees made discussions on such matters as national flag raising, national flag saluting, message reading, preparations, accommodation, healthcare services, transport, information, security and entertainment. Stressing the importance of security and calling for cooperation, the Chief Minister coordinated the discussions.
