Preparations Underway: Meeting to successfully hold ‘Walking Thingyan’

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn on Monday afternoon presided over a meeting to successfully hold the ‘Walking Thingyan’ in the next month of April in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister highlighted proper plans to hold the ‘Walking Thingyan’ on a grand scale with the participation of governmental employees and their families as well as the public. This meeting continued with discussions on participation of the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee and plans including water access, entertainment programme and safety and health measures.
