Preparations Underway: Billboard erected for Population & Household Census

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and many other concerned officials on Sunday attended the Billboard Erecting Ceremony for the 2024 Population and Household Census Collection on the Bogyoke Aung San Street in Taunggyi.

The 2024 Population and Household Census Billboard are being erected in regions and states to help the public be aware of the Population and Household Census work and participate in the collection process. The 2024 Population and Household Census is to confirm and publish the nation’s population statistics and to forecast future population and socio-economic data more accurately.

The census will be enumerated nationwide from 1 to 15 October 2024, and it will be conducted through four processes: preparation, enumeration, listing, analysis, and reporting.
