Preparations Underway: 24th Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition

Leading Committee for organizing the 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition held a coordination meeting on Friday afternoon at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.

In his address, Patron of the Committee Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win highlighted the history of the Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition and the successful holding of the 23rd Competition in the year of 2022.

Calling for cooperation to successfully hold the upcoming 24th competition, he also revealed the aims of the competition and urged the attendees to learn from weak points in the previous competition and turn them into strong points.

And Chairman of the Committee Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin reported on conditions for holding the previous competition, arrangements for the 24th competition and awarding plan.

Also, attendees reported formation of the Leading Committee, Work Committee and sub-committees, tasks, arrangements, preparations and plans to successfully hold the 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition.
