Preparations Underway: 100 Plus Active Competitive Run 2019 On December 1

Preparations are underway to organize 100 Plus Active Competitive Run 2019.

A press conference was held on Monday in Yangon on the upcoming third edition Run which is to be held in Yangon on 1st December, 2019. The “100 plus active competitive run 2019” event is organized with the support of YCDC and Ministry of Health and Sports.

The event is trying to encourage participants to challenge themselves and friends to achieve and create precious memories of run. The start and finishing point of the event is Thuwunna Football Stadium.

Participants can register in two categories - 10 km run challenge and 5 km run challenge. This year, 100 PLUS Myanmar created two ways for registration: online and offline form from the 3rd of September to the 10th of November 2019.

Brand and Sponsorship Manager, 100 PLUS Myanmar, Zin Htar Lae said “This year is different. We have race pack delivery service and more prizes. We are trying our best for this third edition of run event to be held successfully. We made arrangements especially for the runners’ safety and also special activities for the runners to take part in the event happily.”

100 Plus will award the first 20 female and 20 male finishers of the 10 km run challenge with cash prizes – 1 million kyats for 1st Prize, 800,000 kyats for 2nd prize, 500,000 kyats for 3rd prize – 100,000 kyats from the 4th to the 10th place and 50,000 kyats from the 11th to the 20th place. Each participant who completes the run will achieve the finisher medal as well.
