Preparations for new academic year: Sagaing Region CM oversaw the collective cleaning tasks

For the students to be able to study happily and peacefully in 2024-2025 academic year and the good look of the schools, the preparations and collective cleaning tasks participated by the Region/District/Township level General Administration Department, members of Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, Township development committee, civil societies, departmental personnel, ward residents, teachers and parents of students carried out at No (4) Basic Education High School in Thalar Ward, Monywa Township in the morning on May 25.

Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and Region Government members and officials oversaw the collective cleaning tasks and the Region development committee and edible oil dealters association sold the affordable foodstuff, vegetables and edible oil to the participants in the cleaning and ward residents and the Chief minister and members had lunch together with the participants in the cleaning tasks.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials met with the Region/District/Township level education officers, principal, teachers and parents of the students at that school and the school principal reported the status of enrolment for 2024-2025 academic year, maintenance works for the school buildings and the requirements of water supply, cleaning and tidiness in the surrounding of the school and other requirements of the school.

The Region/District/Township education officers, Region level departmental officials and Region Government members supplemented requirements of the school.

Then, the Chief Minister gave necessary instruction and coordinated requirements on the report and discussions.

The collective cleaning tasks at the schools was also carried out at Naga Self-Administered Zone and 13 districts, 11 townships with over 2800 participants, it’s reported.
