Preparations in Nay Pyi Taw: Arrangements for Walking Thingyan inspected

Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan is scheduled to be held resoundingly in the area near the Mayor Maha Thingyan Pandal to the junction of NCDC Guest House. Preparations have been made by the respective sectors for the public to enjoy the festival joyously.

On Wednesday, member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut together with officials inspected the preparation measures for successful holding of the opening ceremony and systematic arrangements for the entertainment programs at the respective zones.

There will be entertainment of Thingyan songs and dances by Yein troupes at the pandals. Moreover, four zones have been designated with the different theme like Thanakha Thingyan Zone, Ethnic Thingyan Zone, Decorative Floats Zone and Youth Game Zone which includes color party, foam party and game show.
