Preparations for Martyrs' Day: Chief Minister inspects preparations for the ceremony

Yangon Region Chief Minister U SoeThein and the Region Ministers inspected on Tuesday the preparations of the Martyrs' Mausoleumin Bahan Township for the upcoming 76thMartyrs' Day ceremony which falls on 19 July.

During inspection, Secretary of the Central Committee for Organizing the 76th Anniversary Martyrs' Day U Tin MaungKyi and officials reported the preparations of VIP lounge and the arrangements for the meeting room to meet with the family members of General Aung San and martyrs.

Afterwards, the Region Chief Minister inspected the way to the Martyrs' Mausoleum and sanitation tasks at the Martyrs' Mausoleum, the placement for the wreath-laying ceremony and the preparations at the southern stairway of Shwe Dagon Pagoda and M-3 front gate in line with COVID-19 guidelines, hand wash basins and measures for security.
