Preparations For Concert: Concert To Be Held In Nay Pyi Taw

Arrangements are being made to hold a concert in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 at the open theatre in Nay Pyi Taw City hall from 26th to 30th November.

On Thursday, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin and officials inspected the open theatre in Nay Pyi Taw city hall where the concert will be held. The Union Minister and the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman met film directors and artists at the meeting hall near the open theatre of the city hall.

At the meeting, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said that the concert commemorating the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day will be held grandly in Nay Pyi Taw for 5 days. For the successful holding of the concert, the chosen site for holding the concert is inspected and it is discussed the necessary things. The concert is held not only for a person or a group or an organization but also for the people to commemorate the 75th Independence Day. It is believed that if the departments, artists and people cooperate together through understanding, the concert will be successful.

The artists from theatrical, movie and music industry and the staff will perform the concert and it will last about 4 hours per day.It is also the first event where artists perform together again after being suspended due to COVID-19. The Union Minister said that the concert will make happy and relax to the people who are unhappy due to COVID-19. Later, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin said that they will cooperate for the successful holding of the concert with the essence of Independence.

The Union Minister, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and officials, film directors and artists viewed around preparations in the open theatre for holding the concert and coordinated essentials.
