





Preparations are underway to successfully organize the 8th Anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) in grandeur at Myanmar International Convention Center II in Nay Pyi Taw.
Arrangements for the displays of commemorative booths are being undertaken by the relevant Ministries.
The commemorative booths showcasing “Historic milestone of peace as told by Newspapers” and ethnic language broadcasting of the National Races channel and Radio Myanmar of Myanma Radio and Television by the Ministries of Border Affairs, Ethnic Affairs and Information will be on display.
Deputy Chief Engineer, Ministry of Border Affairs, Dipar Maung said "The history of the Ministry and the valuable records representing the activities of border area development, as well as records from Education and Training Department will be on display at the booth. "
Director General, Department of Ethnical Literature and Culture, Win Naing said "In addition to the commemorative photos of the previous Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement, the records depicting the essence of the NCA, books about the traditional food and lifestyle of each ethnicity, the traditional folklores of the ethnic group, proverbs, traditional costume designs, NCA and the Law protecting the rights of ethnic groups in the ethnic language, and the textbooks of 72 ethnic groups conducted in basic education schools will be fully exhibited."
Staff Officer, MRTV, Maung Maung Su said "Plans are underway for the visitors to experience news reading presentation of 17 ethnicities as broadcast on MRTV. They can also enjoy memorable photo shoot with Chroma background depicting famous landmarks of various regions and states. "
Likewise, the ethnic traditional cultural dance troupes from regions and states, as well as the dance troupes from the Ministries of Religious Affairs and Culture and Information also made full dress rehearsal to stage performance during the 8th anniversary celebration.
Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, Wai Yan Tun said "We made detailed preparations for our traditional attire for the event and it was a lot of fun to do the rehearsal together with the ethnic dance troupes. "
The 8th anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) is set to take place in a grand manner at the Myanmar International Convention Center-2 with full essence of politics on October 15th.
