Preparation Measures :Plans for successful organizing of Tazaungdaing Festival

Preparations are underway along the Ayeyawady River Bank in Myitkyina to organize Tazaungdaing Festival. On Thursday, Chief Minister of Kachin State U Khet Htein Nan visited the Jetty of Lawka Mahn Aung Su Taung Pyae Pagoda to oversee the cleaning activities alogn the road to the Jetty.

They also inspected the preparations for public recreation areas, oil lamp floating festival and offering to Shin Upagutta. On the same day, a work coordination meeting was held for successful holding of 2024 Tazaungdaing Festival at the State Government Office.

Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan discussed the needs to organize the festival according to the traditional customs with the peaceful participation of publics. The attendees reported on the preparation measures including catering services and performance. The Chief Minister called for collaborative efforts of all concered personnel for successful organizing of the festival with full traditional essence.
