Pre Thingyan festival: MoIP families’ pre Thingyan festival hosted

The Ministry of Immigration and Population personnel families’ Pre Thingyan water festival reception was held at the assembly hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 7th April with the attendance of Union Minister for U Myint Kyaing wife, deputy ministers, senior officials, ministry’s personnel and families, invited guests.

First, the Union Minister U Myint Kyaing extended New Year greetings and made New Year wishes.

Next, the Thingyan chorus dance troupes opened the occasion with “Myuu Hmaung Wei Kin” song and the Union Minister and wife, deputy ministers and attendees enjoyed the dance performances.

Then, the personnel families performed with the songs and Thingyan chorus dances and the union minister and attendees enjoyed and presented cash of honor.

Afterward, the Pre Thingyan water festival was held at the lawn of the office building and hosted with charity feasts and had fun splashing water each other and the Union Minister viewed and participated in the festival fun.
