






On March 19, 2025, the 51st Mon State Day celebration will take place.
The Secretary of the State Administration Council, General Aung Lin Dwe, along with members of the State Administration Council, Union Ministers, and Deputy Ministers, arrived at Mawlamyine Airport via a Tatmadaw aircraft in the evening on March 18. They were warmly welcomed by Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, the Commander of Southeast Command, state ministers, departmental officials, and traditional ethnic groups.
Following arrival, General Aung Lin Dwe and members attended the opening ceremony of exhibitions marking the 51st Mon State Day at the Thamein Baran (Multipurpose Ground) in Mawlamyine. The event featured commemorative displays, MSME local product exhibitions, and traditional food stalls.
Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein explained the objectives of the exhibitions, local product displays, and traditional food stalls, as well as the efforts being made and future plans to enhance the socio-economic development of the state.
Subsequently, General Aung Lin Dwe, accompanied by State Administration Council members Mann Nyein Maung and Khun San Lwin, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, and Commander of Southeast Command Major General Kyaw Lin Maung, officially opened the exhibition by cutting the ribbon. They then took a group photo with attendees of the ceremony.
After that, General Aung Lin Dwe and members participated in a ceremony to present seed-sowing equipment to farmers from various townships in Mon State as part of the Mon State Day commemoration. They then proceeded to tour and support the exhibitions, MSME local product displays, and traditional ethnic food stalls, observing the showcased items and sales activities.
