Prabowo sworn in as Indonesian President

Prabowo Subianto officially became the President of Indonesia and Gibran Rakabuming Raka became the Vice President of Indonesia for the term 2024-2029. The new President and Vice President took oath in front of the plenary session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) on Sunday.

The inauguration event was attended by Joko Widodo as the seventh President of Indonesia and 35 friendly foreign guests. Prabowo has vowed to continue Widodo’s modernization efforts, which have boosted Indonesia’s economic growth by building infrastructure and leveraging the country’s abundant resources.
