Prabowo says Indonesia-Türkiye special bond is deep

Indonesian President Prabowo held a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Erdogan at the Bogor Presidential Palace, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of Indonesia-Turkiye diplomatic relations. During the meeting, Prabowo emphasized the historical closeness between the two nations since the Ottoman Empire era and expressed his honor in welcoming Erdogan’s state visit to Indonesia.

In addition to the bilateral meeting, both leaders also attended the first High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting, highlighting the strong partnership between Indonesia and Turkiye. Prabowo stated that such a high-level bilateral mechanism is rare for Indonesia, making this an important moment for both nations to strengthen their strategic cooperation.
