Power Supply: Workshop on improvement of electricity distribution

Ministry of Electricity on Friday held a workshop on further improvement of electricity distribution.

In his remarks, Union Minister U Nyan Tun said in order to meet the growing demand for electricity in the country every year, the ministry constantly calculates, analyzes and implements short-term/long-term plans in various possible ways. Also, the Ministry has been working on electricity generation, transmission and distribution activities in a balanced manner, the Union Minister added.

This Workshop focused on basic requirements for the development of electricity distribution, procedures to be carried out for the continuous distribution of stable electricity, Reduction of power loss and modern electricity charging systems. After the Workshop, the Union Minister presented certificates of honour to those who led the discussion.
