Power Supply: Electricity Facility In Sagaing Region Inspected

Deputy Minister for Electricity and Energy Dr Tun Naing on Saturday inspected construction of 230-KV Shwebo Main Sub-Power Station Project in Sagaing Region. The officials reported on work progress and future plans.

The Deputy Minister instructed to complete the tasks in targeted time and to prioritize for worksite safety. Upon completion, it would transport the electricity, generated by Tapain-1 Hydropower Station in Bhamo of Kachin State, to the national grid through Bhamo-Nabar-Shwebo-Ohntaw power line, and distribute electricity to Sagaing Region and Kachin State with full voltage.

Later in the day, the Deputy Minister visited 230 KV Ohntaw Main Sub-Power Station in Sagaing and gave instructions on extended facility of 230/33/11 KV 100 MVA transformer.

The Deputy Minister called for worksite safety and made inspection.
