Power Sector: Deputy Minister makes inspections in Shan State

Deputy Minister for Electric Power U Aye Kyaw made inspections in Shan State.

First, at the Yutsauk Township Electrical Power Engineering office, the Deputy Minister heard report on Power distribution and stressed the importance of record, security, electrical safety awareness program for the public and unity among staff, and fulfilled the requirements.

After this meeting, he inspected staff housing and the 66 KV Yutsauk Power Sub-station and gave necessary instructions. At the No. 1 Zawgyi Hydropower Plant, the Deputy Minister heard report on operation and maintenance, and called for the expansion of the switch yard and safety measures.

And, he inspected the plant and gave necessary instructions. At the Nyaung Shwe Electrical Power Engineering office, the Deputy Minister called on concerned officials to conduct electrical safety awareness program for the public and fulfilled the requirements.

And, he inspected the control room of the 66 KV Nyaung Shwe Power Sub-station and switch yard and gave necessary instructions.
