Post-gratuade medical courses: Meeting for Postgraduate Medical courses 1/2023 held

To open the post-gratuade medical courses 2024 by the Department of Human Resources for Health under the Ministry of Health, at the Universities of Medicine and related Universities, a meeting for Postgraduate Medical Education 1/2023 was held at the Ministry of Health on Tuesday with the attendance of Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win.

At the meeing, the union Minister said it’s important to turn out competant medical doctors and public health workers and needs to produce more quality human resources in accordance with the needs, this year postgraduate medical courses will recruit by the medicine universities under the Ministry of Health and it is necessary to coordinate to produce human resources to be compatible with the expanded structure, the number of post gratuade applicants that can be accepted by the universities will be discussed and approved at this meeting.

During the meeting, the Chairperson of the postgraduate medical courses and director general of the department of human resources for health reported about the proceducers for admission to postgraduate medical courses and, the secretary of the courses presented about the related matters. Then, the attendees discussed the matters related to the numbers of applicants and curriculum of the postgraduate courses.
