Population and Household Issues: Billboard erecting ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw area

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing, Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council and many other concerned officials on Thursday attended the 2024 Population and Household Census Billboard Erecting Ceremony in Ottarathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.

The 2024 Population and Household Census Billboard are being erected in regions and states to help the public be aware of the Population and Household Census work and participate in the collection process.

After this Billboard Erecting Ceremony, concerned officials and staff distributed pamphlets regarding the 2024 Population and Household Census collection.

The 2024 Population and Household Census is to confirm and publish the nation’s population statistics and to forecast future population and socio-economic data more accurately.

The census will be enumerated nationwide from 1 to 15 October 2024, and it will be conducted through four processes: preparation, enumeration, listing, analysis, and reporting.
