Argentines began voting on Sunday in presidential election between Economy Minister Sergio Massa and libertarian outsider Javier Milei, who offer wildly different visions for a country mired in economic instability.

The two men represent starkly different futures for Latin America’s third-largest economy. Polls have the two men in a dead heat, with observers stumped over who will be the victor after annual inflation hit 143 percent and with poverty at over 40 percent.
