




Voting ended in the Central African Republic on Sunday for presidential, legislative, regional, and local elections, held for the first time in decades. Some 2.4 million registered voters participated in the national elections, with incumbent President Faustin-ArchangeTouadéra favored to win a third consecutive term. Provisional results would be released on January 5, following the counting of ballots across the country.
