Police: At least 10 killed in California shooting

A gunman killed 10 people and wounded 10 others at a Los Angeles-area ballroom dance club following a Lunar New Year celebration, setting off a manhunt for the suspect in the latest mass shooting tragedy in an American community.

The shooting was reported at 10:22 p.m. Saturday and occurred at a business on Garvey Ave. in Monterey Park.  The shooter is a male, official said early Sunday. Monterey Park is a city of about 60,000 people with a large Asian population that's about 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
