Poland says it has plenty of natural gas in reserve

The Polish climate minister gave assurances on Tuesday that the country has plenty of natural gas on reserve. The Minister for climate and environment, said in a news conference in Warsaw that Poland was "ready for full independence from Russia's fossil fuels.

She said the intensive, consistent actions and investment policy, investments made into the infrastructure, have produced diversification possibilities and allow the country to feel on the safe side. Poland has been working to wean itself off of Russian energy sources and was due to end its reliance on Russian gas this year.
