PMs Morrison and Modi hold virtual meeting

Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison had a virtual summit with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. Australia was set to announce millions of dollars' worth of investment in India.

Morrison said he was hopeful that the two leaders will advance closer economic cooperation between the two countries during their talks.

Modi said resolving the comprehensive economic plan would be important to bilateral relations. Morrison also discussed the conflict in Ukraine and told the Indian leader that such a conflict must never happen in the Indo-Pacific.
