PM Modi inaugurates new International Airport in Andhra Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport and launched key infrastructure projects across the state on 1st August.

Developed under the Public-Private Partnership model, the state-of-the-art greenfield airport is designed to handle 6 million passengers annually. It will strengthen connectivity for North Andhra and open new doors for tourism, trade, investment and employment. 

Likewise, key development projects related to infrastructure, connectivity and culture, boosting commerce and tourism were also launched on the same day. The projects with enhance air connectivity, expand renewable energy infrastructure, boost semiconductor manufacturing, improve road connectivity and create new opportunities for investment, employment and regional growth.
