Plane Crash: Tatmadaw (Air) Fighter Jet crashes during training flight

A fighter jet from the Tatmadaw (Air) crashed during a training flight operation on Thursday due to engine failure.

The aircraft went down near Yay Boat Gyi Village, northwest of Pwint Phyu at around 12:05 pm. The crashed aircraft caught fire, but the pilot was rescued as he managed to make an emergency jump. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the engine failure.
