Pilgrim Tour: Indian delegation visits Maravijaya Buddha Park

Indian delegation led by Expert Wing Commander of Indian Air Forces Savitesh Chandler Mishra, paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image, the World tallest sitting marble Buddha image, in DekkhinathiriTownship, Nay Pyi Taw in the evening of 30th March.

Board of Trustees and experts who participated in the construction and preservation of the Buddha Image clarified the measures taken to erect the Buddha Image successfully via documentary video.

The Indian delegation then paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image and observed the marble repositories, AggadipatiSasanaBeikmantawgyi, stone inscription chambers Cetis, Thudamar rest houses, MusleindhaLakeand others religious buildings. Later the delegation donated cash for all round renovation tasks of the Maravijaya Buddha image.
