Phu Quoc of Viet Nam named world’s second best island

Travel and Leisure, the world's leading travel magazine, has announced the top 25 most wonderful islands in the world for 2024. Phú Quốc ranked second, just after the Maldives and ahead of Bali and Phuket. This accolade follows Phú Quốc's earlier recognition as one of the top 6 tourist destinations in the world for 2024 by the online travel website Travel Lemming.

In addition to the effectiveness of the 30-day visa exemption policy, the island’s natural beauty and tourism infrastructure are its main attractions. Nearly 160,000 USD was invested in creating a tourism ecosystem on the island, featuring the iconic Proposal Bridge, the multi-experience Kiss of the Sea show, nightly fireworks displays, and a night market that showcases culinary delights and street shows.
