Pharmaceutical Engineering Training: MoI Union Minister inspected the training and gave a remark

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than inspected the pharmaceutical engineering officers’ level training conducting in pharmaceutical factory (Insein), Insein Township of Yangon Region in the afternoon on 27th October and gave a remark saying the pharmaceutical engineering officers’ level training is conducted as the State-run and private pharmaceutical factories can only produce 15% of medicines required by the country.
As the lectures in the training are being given by the experienced engineers and professionals from the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology and Myanmar Engineering Council, it’s believed that the trainees have had more knowledge on the pharmaceutical production processes.
Moreover, the knowledge gained from the training should be shared by conducting multiplier courses. The Union Minister also clarified in the training regarding with what’s the pharmaceutical engineering? Where can be the pharmaceutical engineering studied?The requirements for being pharmaceutical engineer and when did the branch of pharmaceutical studies begin? Is it included in Industrial Revolution-4? etc. with Power point and replied the queries raised by the trainees in detail.
