Peru's new prime minister vows to combat organized crime and insecurity

Peru's new prime minister, the fourth in less than three years, delivered his first press conference to journalists, vowing to defend public safety and fight against organized crime. 

"One of the most important issues for them is also to resolve the problem of crime in this area of Pataz because they have to restore peace to the citizens and bring tranquillity back to this northern region," adds Prime Minister Eduardo Arana, speaking of the 13 mine workers who were found dead after being kidnapped.
