Peru returns to use of masks due to new COVID wave

Peruvian officials ordered residents to wear masks outdoors amid a "fourth wave" of coronavirus infections. Speaking in Lima, Health Minister Jorge Lopez said the decision was made to enforce the use of face coverings both inside and outside because the increase in infections had exceeded 5%.The country had withdrawn the use of masks outdoors in May.
